Have You Ever..........

I didn’t really go into details about my weekend adventures because I actually didn’t even want to think about it but since I am all better now—I can share with you! One of my good friends, (we go back to elementary) had a birthday party and it was at Kameo, a pole dancing studio in Atlanta. That’s right, I said it! A POLE DANCE STUDIO! This was an interesting experience seeing that I am not very well trained on the pole! However, I managed to make it through and learned some pole moves. There are a few crazy names but here it goes: The Fireman, The Cannon Ball and The Stork. Those were just a few, but not only did I leave that studios with new moves, I left with new pain! My body was aching and aching all over, whew it was quite painful! For four days I couldn’t lift my arms. I must commend dancers, you must have upper body strength do the latter part of your job that I don’t. I learn two things this weekend: I should keep my daytime job and that I wouldn’t get any tips if I worked as stripper. But if I could do a repeat of this weekend I would do it all over again pain and all—because I had a:

I just want to say thanks to the owner of Kameo, (shameless plug) Camile for working me out, she's the best and a special thanks to CR for inviting me, I had such a great time over the weekend, I truly enjoyed myself--pain and all!

No One Said Life Was Easy, Or Did They?

As you all may know I am a graduate student—well I'm a non tradition graduate student; which means I work full time and go to school! How do I manage to do it? Yes that’s what I want to know! It is hard and times do get tough. I am constantly reminding myself that I will get through this, or saying to myself "this too shall past" in order for me to continue pressing forward. Working and going to grad school is hard, the work load is heavier and of course more is expected out of you. But I manage to deal and excel, I am by no means a quitter but trust me I’ve come close! Besides my constant drive, my family and mi novio makes this so easy for me to continue. They are so supportive and behind me 110%. However, my Mr. Everything gets the short end of the stick because we don’t get to enjoy each other as much as we would like, we do manage to have date nights, which I do enjoy! But it’s hard keeping everything together without breaking down. With that being said:

Just Let Go!

My dear friend LC has been really going through a lot in the past couple of months, getting to know herself and what she wants out of life regarding a relationship in the near future! I have been knowing LC for a few years now and I actually look at her like a little sister we are only a few months apart but hey, I am older. But I digress, I've witness her grow, I've seen her happy and sad. She is the type of person, who want to be in control of the situation all of the time--but most of the time it can lead to a disastrous place. But I really want what's best for her, so LC if you are reading this, here’s a message for you:

When I take my daily journey into the World Wide Web, I find my daily inspiration! I may find something that makes me think of the day that I am having or the days to come. Music Review-MGMT: Electric Feel

Just for the record, let me start by saying that I am a music junkie and in my other life I would be an A&R for a record company! But anyway, I found this great group that I love dearly! My love for music runs deeper than R&B and Rap, (just to let you know) this group MGMT is very creative with their music even their music video is out of this world. Even their website is cool, bright colors, futuristic I adore it! I love it when groups step out of the box and are risk takers instead of followers! MGMT formerly known as The Management, is definitely not new on the music scene, however I certainly feel that their new hit Electric Feel put these fellas on the map.
