Weekend Recap: "Full Of Surprises"

I hope everyone had a marvelous weekend because I sure did! I went to a vow renewal and it was simply gorgeous! The couple has been married for 20 years and they were both tearing up when they were saying their vows! It was beautiful! Not only did I go to a vow renewal, my mom and my boyfriend surprised me! It was a simple but pleasant surprise I might add! Here’s how it all went:

My mom made up this far fetched story(Too long to relive) just to get me to join her for brunch! Okay no big deal! So we finally make it to the restaurant and I call my boyfriend because we are at the restaurant that we have been planning to try for the longest. So while I am dialing his number, I am waiting to be seated at my table and I see three menus at the table. So I ask my mom: Why do we have three menus at our table, who is joining us? She smiles and looks up, so I turn around and there is my Mr. Everything! He is standing there looking pretty darn good! Although, I still don’t quite know the reason why they surprised me, I mean I see my boyfriend everyday! But I guess it’s not everyday I have my mom and my boyfriend with me!  The only person missing was my dad and he was at the gym working out! So that was my weekend in a nutshell!

P.S. Out of four years that was my third surprise from Mr. Everything! Maybe the fourth surprise will be something to SCREAM about………

Rockin Weekend

I notice that normally I don't divulge all of my weekend adventures but I must brag on someone near and dear to me. This past weekend I had the honor of visiting my friend Aisha in Birmingham, Alabama to celebrate her great accomplishment: finishing law school. Now all she has to do is walk across the stage and receive her law degree. Vanderbilt was actually lucky to have her for the last three years but I am sure she is happy to be done with it all. Now she is preparing to take it up a notch---passing the bar exam. Which I am proud to say, I am pretty sure that she will pass with flying colors.

With that being said my weekend was a blast----I want a repeat!! (Screaming: REPEAT! ) Oh too bad it isn’t that easy to relive a weekend of fun!

Have You Ever..........

I didn’t really go into details about my weekend adventures because I actually didn’t even want to think about it but since I am all better now—I can share with you! One of my good friends, (we go back to elementary) had a birthday party and it was at Kameo, a pole dancing studio in Atlanta. That’s right, I said it! A POLE DANCE STUDIO! This was an interesting experience seeing that I am not very well trained on the pole! However, I managed to make it through and learned some pole moves. There are a few crazy names but here it goes: The Fireman, The Cannon Ball and The Stork. Those were just a few, but not only did I leave that studios with new moves, I left with new pain! My body was aching and aching all over, whew it was quite painful! For four days I couldn’t lift my arms. I must commend dancers, you must have upper body strength do the latter part of your job that I don’t. I learn two things this weekend: I should keep my daytime job and that I wouldn’t get any tips if I worked as stripper. But if I could do a repeat of this weekend I would do it all over again pain and all—because I had a:

I just want to say thanks to the owner of Kameo, (shameless plug) Camile for working me out, she's the best and a special thanks to CR for inviting me, I had such a great time over the weekend, I truly enjoyed myself--pain and all!
