Budget-Friendly Wedding Centerpieces

What’s one of the first things you see when you walk into a wedding reception? Centerpieces! Now I hate to be mean but I remember going to a wedding reception and thinking to myself WTF happen with the centerpieces. They looked so ummmm, what’s the word thrown together! Now don’t get me wrong, I understand we are all trying to save a few bucks but come on, people! At least make it look half decent and trust me you can! What's Too Expensive For A Wedding Photographer?

Is the saying you get what you pay for true in regards to wedding photographers? I was doing research for work (I work for a wedding company) and I was trying to gather some information about wedding photographer and how much on the average it will cost. I found that the going rate for a "Good" photographer range from about $3,000 to $8,000. Maybe I am being a bit frugal but that is quite expensive! I understand the whole concept of they are your wedding pictures, memories blah blah blah! But come on, people!  I honestly believe you CAN find an awesome photographer for about $2,500 and  they may throw in an engagement session. I am curious, what did everyone pay for their wedding photographer and what was included in the package?
